In theme with the Psychedelic as Medicine conference, the caduceus is the symbol of medicine — a winged staff with a snake coiled around its length. In this painting, the caucus is made of psychedelic healing plants. At it’s top are the feathers of a bald eagle and a barred owl. Eagle feathers represent liberation and accomplishment, while owl feathers represent guidance through dark moments. Both sit over this symbol of healing as totems we wish for anyone attempting deep healing work.

*Due to the nature of printing on a canvas-like cotton, the print is slightly less detailed than the original artwork and the black areas of the artwork are less dark. This is a necessary sacrifice in order to achieve a tapestry wall hanging on a non-synthetic fabric.
