This artwork:
Indra’s net, a concept from Hindu and Buddhist cosmology, refers to an infinite connected web where each intersection contains a jewel that reflects every other jewel in its endless expanse. In this painting, these interconnected jewels are found in the loving and smiling wrinkle of an ancestor or a loving grandfather. An interconnected web of loving ancient grandfatherly smile.

Due to the nature of printing on a canvas-like cotton, the print is slightly less detailed than the original artwork and the black areas of the artwork are less dark. This is a necessary sacrifice in order to achieve a tapestry wall hanging on a non-synthetic fabric.
