This artwork:
This painting depicts a hollow bone practice, or a channeled healing, or calling on ancestors guides for support. In a way this painting is a diagram- notes on a teaching visualization I received a long time ago for inviting healing spirits to work through oneself on another. As in many of my artworks, the head is covered, indicating to move from the intellect to the heart and body.

*Due to the nature of printing on a canvas-like cotton, the print is slightly less detailed than the original artwork and the black areas of the artwork are less dark. This is a necessary sacrifice in order to achieve a tapestry wall hanging on a non-synthetic fabric.
