Snakes are change embodied, they shed their skin, they carry poison that must be transmuted, they represent sexuality , consciousness, life, and healing.   To open one's heart and allow all of these aspects to truly guide the mind takes courage and surrender.  The Yin and Yang aspects can wrap themselves around the mind (head) or the actions (arm) .   It's a dance, a battle, and a blessing - however it unfolds.
